Owerri Roads Blocked as Truck Drivers Protest Alleged Harassment, Extortion by Government Taskforce
Truck drivers in Imo State brought the city of Owerri to a standstill on Thursday, August 15, 2024, by blocking major roads including the Owerri/Port Harcourt and Owerri/Onitsha highways. The protest, organized by the Trailer Drivers Association, was a response to what they
