Police declares Mr Cyprain Nwaugo wanted over his IPOB link

The Nigerian Police has declared a man Mr Cyprain Chijioke Nwaugo wanted over his alleged link and involvement with the activities of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
According to the police, the suspect was said to be the Coordinator of the dreaded Group who masterminded several protests in South East particularly Aba Abia, on Friday November 4, 2022 demanding the immediate release of Nnamdi Kano, describing his arrest and detention unacceptable.
Acting on credible intelligence reports on Thursday November 10, 2022, it was disclosed that the suspect and Group were having meeting along Osusu road Aba holding banners, placards and flags with a suspected plan to unleash another protests in Aba, Abia State.
The suspect on Saturday November 20, 2022 masterminded another protest along Osusu road Aba which was intercepted by the police who after having confirmed same as Indigenous people of Biafra. During the operation, the police arrested 11 members while some flee. The items recovered were 3 Biafran flags, 3 American flags, 6 CCTV cameras, 12 phones and 3 Laptops.
Nigeria Police said that suspect was involved in the planning and execution of the IPoB protests recently in the entire South East of Nigeria and has launched a manhunt on the suspect, kingpin and Coordinator of the Group. Anyone with useful information that will lead to his arrest and prosecution shall be rewarded bountifully.
